Skogar^® HT superinsulating aerogel sheets from Enersens (say en-er-sahnce) are nonflammable, flexible composite materials that combine silica aerogel and high-performance synthetic fibers to create an unbeatable insulator with extreme stability against fire and high temperatures. For demanding applications in aerospace, batteries, electronics, and appliances, Skogar HT provides meaningful added value, maximizing insulative performance in the least amount of space with the least amount of weight. With an ambient thermal conductivity of only 12 mW/m-K (an R-value of nearly 12 per inch), Skogar remains stable from -195°C up to 1300°C when exposed to flame and is easy to use, cut, and integrate into real-world designs. Ideal for battery pack thermal barriers. Available in thicknesses of 2.0, 3.0, and 6.0 mm. Skogar is also FAR 25.853-compliant in 2.0-mm and 3-mm thicknesses for aviation interior applications.
