Precision Silica Aerogel Bars from Ocellus are long rectangular aerogel bars with precision flat edges. These are the longest commercially available monolithic silica aerogels. Ideal for applications where properties such as optical transparency, thermal superinsulation, and low density are desirable. Great for science projects, demonstrations, and extreme engineering. Density is 0.09 g/cm3. Dimensions are ~2.5 cm x 1.0 cm x 14 cm (1″ x 5.5″ x 0.4″). Available in hydrophobic or hydrophilic formulation.
